Pinhole Competition

So to coincide with Worldwide Pinhole Day we thought we’d harness all that pinhole energy and launch our first competition. The competition is open to any form of Pinhole Photography and is free to enter. We simply want you to get involved and enjoy yourself!

The Prizes; in association with Black & White Photography Magazine

Gold Prize – Ilford Pinhole Photography Kit including the Harman Titan Pinhole Camera plus 1 year subscription to Black & White Photography Magazine.

Silver Prize – Zero Image 6x9 Multi Format Camera plus “Pinhole Cameras” by Chris Keeney.

Bronze Prize – Stenoflex Camera plus “Pinhole Cameras” by Chris Keeney

Obviously very Olympic for 2012. As well as the prizes above for those shooting in Black & White there is the opportunity to be published in the August Edition of Black & White Photography Magazine...too good to be true all that!

The Outline;

To enter the Competition, participants must open or have an existing account on flickr.com, which if you’re not familiar is a photo sharing community website. Simply upload your submission/s to the Silverprint Pinhole Competition Group.

You can enter both Colour and Black & White images!

Just so you are aware, closing your Flickr account or leaving the Group will automatically remove all photos from the Group and the Competition. If this is done before the Competition deadline then we obviously can’t judge your submissions as they won’t be there...so be careful!

The Rules;

You can enter 1-5 images and they must be submitted online via Flickr to the Silverprint Competition Group.

You must tell us what camera your submission was taken with.

The images submitted must be the work of the entrant.

The entrant must own the copyright of the image.

Entrants will be credited for all use of their images in connection with the Silverprint Pinhole Competition.

Images may be used without payment to the photographer, to promote the Silverprint Pinhole Competition, by Silverprint and the media.

The competition is open for entries from 4th May 2012, 9:30am, and closes at 23.59 on 15 June, 2012. Judging will take place shortly after this date.

The judges’ decision is final.

Winners will be notified by the end of June and their images will be published in the August issue of the Black & White Photography magazine.

Prizes are not transferable, nor can they be exchanged for other goods and there is no cash alternative for winners.

Finally just so it’s in your head, the submission deadline again for the competition is the end of Friday 15th June, 2012.
